Day 1: Pick up at Tan Son Nhat Airport –Hotel – Sai gon by night (-/-/D)

            Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, Tour guide & van pick up and transfer to hotel, Check in (14:00) and free time till 17:45 – Tour guide and private Car pick you up at hotel, take you quick look how busy of economic city on the way to the water puppet show, where is traditional culture and quintessence  art meeting through daily activities of vietnamese people as one of the high light of Vietnamese arts .(Shows are performed entirely in Vietnamese which is not a problem for the visiting tourist as the puppet gestures are obvious enough to keep the audience enthralled. The musicians are often positioned to one side of the stage adding in sound effects and songs as the people-styled puppets, dragons, fairies and other ornamental figures dance across the stage)

After the show, you will be take to your cruise dock where you will board your cruise on the Saigon River where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and see Saigon by night.

Once dinner is finished you will disembark the cruise and be taken back to your hotel where your tour concludes approximately 10pm. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City 

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City tour full day (B/L/-) 

            At 8.30am – Your tour guide and car will pick you up from your hotel and will start our tour of Ho Chi Minh City. You will get to know its history and culture by stopping at:

The Reunification Palace – on April 30th, 1975, what the Vietnamese refer to as the ‘American War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam

War Remnants Museum – formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the ‘Requiem’ exhibit is particularly touching and is dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict.

Notre Dam Cathedral and General Post Office were built around 1877 and 1883 respectively. These two iconic buildings are fine examples of French colonial architecture. Remarkably every stone used in the building of the Notre Dam Cathedral was shipped from France to Vietnam. The Old Post Office is also the country’s largest post office.

The Opera House, after the lunch at local restaurant, we take you to see Chinatown and the Chinese market Binh Tay. We then move on to Thien Hau Pagoda, a temple entered through an iron gate and crossing a small courtyard. The roof is decorated with delicately fashioned porcelain figurines expressing themes from Chinese religion and legends. Lanterns and wooden models of Chinese theaters hang over the entrance. Our final stop before taking you back to your hotel is Ben Thanh Market, one of Vietnams largest markets and a real heart beat of Ho Chi Minh culture. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 3: Cooking class and Cu chi Tunnels (B/L/-)

            In the morning, Chef and driver pick you up at the hotel at 8:15 AM. Prepare to visit colorful market to get some foods for your hands on cooking class (Ben Thanh Market)

Then take you to Mai Home Sai Gon Culinary Art Center, the Vietnamese professional chefs will tell you some things about Vietnamese’s kitchen and culinary culture before cooking time.

Having lunch with the dishes made by yourself. Some questions from the Chiefs to make sure you are understand and remember every steps for cooking before you can get certificate and some presents from them.

Continuing your exiting  tour, take you North West to the Cu Chi Tunnels which are 70kms away. This is an area where Vietnamese people proudly held their ground during the Vietnam war (in Vietnam it is known as The American War). Over 200kms of underground tunnels were made, the trip will help you understand the struggle the Vietnamese would have gone through on the frontline. It took an enormous amount of ingenuity, courage and imagination to match the enemy and these tunnels were a big part of the Vietnam War and ended being a resounding victory for the Cu Chi people.

The tunnel system, fortifications and trenches were a part of a soldiers life, you will see how they lived, the kitchens, store rooms, hospital, living quarters. You can crawl around parts of the tunnel yourself and watch a video of the history of the Vietnam War in this area.  We will then take you back to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta: My Tho Ben Tre full day (B/L/-)

            This morning, 8:30AM – your tour guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel and depart for My Tho City, the Capital of Tien Giang (Front River) province. Once here, you’ll take a boat ride over to Unicorn Island, one of the four lucky islands.

On this island you will see daily activities of the local people along tributaries of river and enjoy some typical produces of the Mekong Delta such as tropical candies, fresh fruits (depend on the season) and enjoy folk song.

Next, enjoy a ride on hand–rowing sampans that will take you along the small canals. You will enjoy a stop to try your hand at making coconut candy. Next, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to the village’ s roads and taken to a local restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious lunch of local specialties like Tai Tuong fried fish, spring rolls, and fresh shrimp.

After lunch, enjoy a short walk on the village’s trail which will lead you past local houses, you will stop at one local house where you can taste fresh coconut milk at coconut garden with short coconut trees so you can pick yourself.

Head back along the trail and on the way back, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. From here, you’ll head back the hotel where the tour will finish at about 4:30pm. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Can Gio Ecologic Area Excursion full day (B/L/-)

            After being picked up from your hotel this morning, you will enjoy a visit to Can Go Ecologic Area. Next, enjoy a visit to Monkey island followed by Can Gio Museum and Mangrove Forest Park. Here you’ll see a range of Fauna with crocodiles, and wild monkeys. You’ll also get to visit the Animal Circus (09:00 and 15:00 every Saturday, Sunday and Holiday).

Next, enjoy a canoe ride and visit the Mangrove Forest Ecosystem and Rung Sac Guerilla Base. Here you’ll enjoy lunch at Carrot Restaurant & Can gio Beach, then we visit Ong Thuy Tuong Royal Tomb, Can Thanh Market . Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Long Tan battlefield and Vung Tau beach (B/L/-)

            Early this morning, 7:30AM – Your tour guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Long Tan. Once you arrive, you will visit Dat Mountain (S.A.S HILL). The Battle of Long Tan is arguably the most famous battle fought by the Australian Army during the Vietnam War. It was fought in a rubber plantation near the village of Long Tan, north-east of Vung Tau, South Vietnam on August 18–19, 1966.

Next, visit Long Phuoc Tunnels. This complex tunnel system was connected to form a spine way tunnel for storing foods with fighting fortified positions , first aid station, weapon stores. The Tunnels were the place for Vietnamese revolution troops to fight against the enemy.

Next, you will be taken to Vung Tau City – Have lunch at local restaurant, Visit Niet Ban Tinh Xa, Nirvana Meditation Retreat and Thich Ca Phat Dai, a Buddhist Shrine, French-built Light House. Visit Giant Jesus and have swim at VungTau prime beach. Overnight in Vung Tau

Day 7 : Vung Tau Beach – Ho Chi Minh city (B/L/-)

After BF, free time and relax with Vung tau Beach, Check out and Have lunch at Local restaurant after that back to Ho Chi Minh City, dinner by yourself.  Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 8 : Ho Chi Minh city – Transfer to the airport (B/-/-)

After BF, we have a relaxing and shopping day, Check out and private ca pick you up – bring you to the airport. End of services – Southern vietnam classic
